We produced commercial video and content for Grand Hotel Monday in Tokyo, with the goal of building brand around the chain's new premium concept. The project was conducted in Ginza and encompassed concept, direction, filming and full video production, including clips and color correction. The content was developed for use on social media, advertisements and website, with a focus on conveying serenity, quality and the contrast to the pace of the city.
A new and more precise digital identity A new premium hotel concept in the heart of Tokyo
GRAND MONday is a new concept launched by Mondays hotels, designed for travelers who want a more tranquil, premium and homely hotel experience. The hotel is located in Ginza, one of Tokyo's most exclusive areas, and is specifically aimed at long stay travellers and guests who value space, comfort and modern amenities.
In connection with the launch, GRAND MONday wanted to build clear brand awareness and create organic visibility in social media. It was important that the communication differed from traditional hotel advertising and rather conveyed the feeling of living there, focusing on tranquility, quality and everyday luxury in the middle of the metropolis.

From strategy and concept to finished content
Blynk AS was brought in to handle the entire creative race in conjunction with the launch. We took responsibility for everything from strategy and concept development to storyboard, filming and post-production.
Through close cooperation, we developed a clear creative direction that would communicate GRAND MONday's expression in an authentic and credible way. The goal was to create content that feels natural and inviting, while building a distinct premium positioning for the new hotel concept.

Content production with focus on experience and organic reach
The visual direction was based on a modern Japandi aesthetic, focusing on clean lines, warm materials and a sense of space. The content shows what it's actually like to stay in the hotel, from fully equipped kitchens and washing machines to bathtubs, private showers and thoughtful amenities for extended stays.
All content was produced for use on TikTok, Instagram and the hotel's website, with a primary emphasis on UGC format and organic distribution. The result was a launch video approaching 100,000 organic views, strong response in social media and good booking results, which helped establish GRAND MONday as a premium and laid back option in Tokyo.

A professional collaboration with a focus on quality
From the first meeting we were welcomed by the team behind GRAND MONday. The project was characterized by clear communication, good structure and a common understanding of quality and expression. This laid a solid foundation for an efficient and agile collaboration throughout the process.
The team at GRAND MONday was professional, solution-oriented and open to creative input, while having a clear framework and ambition for the launch. It allowed us to work purposefully and comprehensively, with full control of both details and the whole, from idea to finished published content.
