Ochaya

Ochaya will open a matcha and hojicha café in Oslo with a focus on quality and Japandi aesthetics. We've produced visual content for TikTok and Instagram that builds pre-launch anticipation, with product images, short videos and mood-creating formats. Content is tailored to a lifestyle-oriented audience and optimized to capture attention in the feed, with the goal of creating visibility and establishing the brand from day one.

A new format and a new industry to learn

When we started working on the content, the goal was to build a digital presence that could mirror the quality and aesthetics of the concept. The café wanted to establish itself with a clear lifestyle profile, and we knew that the visual expression had to be both recognisable and engaging. We emphasized creating a style that could work just as well in short TikTok snippets as in more stylish photos for Instagram.

Through planning and idea development, we found a direction where product, mood and brand went hand in hand. It was about conveying the feel of the cafe before the doors opened, allowing the public to build expectations and connect with the brand already digitally.

Warm colors, fast clip and real presence

With a clear strategy in place, we went into production. Here it was important to strike a balance between the aesthetic and the energetic, so that the content could both attract attention in the feed and build the brand's identity in the longer term.

We produced product images that highlighted texture, color and detail, and we developed video concepts that were adapted to TikTok's fast format. The goal was to show more than just a drink -- we wanted to create an experience of taste, lifestyle and environment around the concept.

A partnership that we continue to build on

Throughout the shoots, we worked with warm colors, dynamic clips and a clear storytelling. The content was supposed to be both enticing and entertaining, and at the same time give viewers a sense of being up close to the experience in the café.

The result was a content bank of videos and images that works across platforms. We tested, customized and optimized along the way, ending up with a style that hits the target audience and builds a strong anticipation for the launch.

All the content we've produced has laid the foundation for a strong digital identity, and we're excited to see the concept meet its audience. Now this autumn, the café opens its doors in Oslo, and we are excited to follow the response from the target audience who have already received a taste through social media.

The launch marks not only the start of a new café, but also the continuation of a visual journey we have helped shape.
