We worked with Egon and Elvebyen FK to create a food review video where the team got to test the new menu. The aim was to convey both the dining experience and the good vibe through genuine reactions and camaraderie. The video was filmed at Egon focusing on both food, environment and energy, and was provided as content for use in social media. The result was an engaging and light-footed production that shows how well football and good food actually go together.
Football, food and real reactions in front of camera
The assignment was to document how Elvebyen FK experienced testing a new menu. We wanted to create a video that was honest, funny and full of real feedback -- a social dining experience with humor and team feeling in focus. By following the players through the meal, we wanted to capture both the expectations, the taste and the interaction around the table.
We produced the content with a light expression, while retaining a structured approach to storytelling. The main focus was to create a video that felt natural, entertaining and easy to share further in the right channels. A mix of food, characters and camaraderie.
From nervous mood to good flow and genuine laughter
There's always a bit of tension when people aren't used to camera and several of the players were unsure at the start. We made sure to create a relaxed mood, calmed down the stress and let things develop organically. Once the cameras rolled, the personalities emerged -- and it became apparent that this was going to be both funny and real.
By working closely with the participants and being flexible in production, we were able to capture exactly the moments we wanted. Taste testing, little pricks to each other, laughter and reactions to surprising dishes -- it all went with it. It all turned into a dynamic and light-footed production with high sharing value.
A social video project with a good mood and a lot of laughter
The result was a video that shows Elvebyen FK exactly the way they are — a close-knit group with humour, honest opinions and a sense of good food. There was a lot of laughter around the table and it spills over onto the content. Here the goal was not to be smooth and polished, but real and entertaining.
The video is made for social media, and we made sure that both pace, clip and phrasing work well in the formats where the target audience actually is. A combination of food, environment and people that makes it both easy to see — and easy to like.
